Pics of my precious snow white @ Delivery!

Driving home felt like the c0ckPit of an F-16. Feels great and crisp, got some head turns from some Z owners lol, It was killing me to keep it below 4K RPM.
I can't wait until this thing is broken in!

You don't need to watch the RPM as it was dyno'd at the factory. You need to make sure you break in the other parts of the car responsibly. Straight-line RPM you can definitely get into the redline. I just wouldn't take risky turns or do some dukes of hazard shit.

I'm not going to get into an "engine break in" debate with you here. But I wouldn't dare straight redline the car after just picking it up. It's not exactly suggested in the manual even though you are correct, they do run the engine at the factory.

The reason why I would follow the guide (I will be doing this with my FR-S) is because I have a very serious racing friend who bought a 2010 STI Hatchback brand new. He had it from the factory and followed the engine break in guide. I asked him about what he thought I should do with the FR-S and he told me "With Subaru engines, follow the guide book. I noticed a HUGE difference in power after the engine was broken in compared to when it was new. Even at the same RPM, the engine was more responsive".

So, from that point onward. I've made my mind up and I will indeed follow what the manual suggests. I wouldn't be telling people "oh yeah, go redline it! They broke it in for you".

Is that the one you're not getting from NoHo? I'm seriously starting to considering calling them back. So far Hooman Toyota has gotten everything except mine lol. It's giving me some serious frs envy.

Yup that's the one. I was this close to buying it yesterday lol but I refrained from being impulsive and going along with my plans lol. I think they drilled the bumper that's why I don't want it. Not 100% but Ima check tomorrow at work if it's still there. if its not drilled and it's a bracket we shall see if I take ownership lol

Ah yeah I wouldn't want that either lol. I asked my guys not to drill it but they're telling me they do it at port, but they'd try. Ugh such a pain getting it just right.

I try not to go past 4K, but it is hard, just like right below 4.5 sometimes, but usually around 3.9 ~ 4.2.

Oh, and coming home from the mall I took this double lane clover leaf and swooped by this minivan at a high rate of speed without braking, the car didn't even flinch!
