Closest to OEM Wheels width and offset

Hi guys, I am looking to buy some wheels and tires in this month and would like to know for enkei rpf 1 which one is the closet offset and width as to the oem one as i don't want to spoil the handling and lap time . will it be the 17x7.5 offset 48mm?? also for the tires i am thinking about michelin super pilot sport 215/45/17 will that be a good choice as well or 225/40/17? thanks a lot.

You can run 17x8 wheels and run 225/45/17 tires. This will yield more grip than your proposed setup.

I see. So u reckon 17x8 offset 45mm with 225/ 47/17? will that be out weight better than 215/45/17 with 17x7 offset 48mm in lap time and handling?? Also do i need to do any modification in order to get it fit??

No modification required. Will fit with tons of clearance.

The stock tyres lack grip for track use. Fitting better/grippier tyres will improve on lap times.

so which combination you think work the best? 215/45/17 & 17x7.5 offset 48mm or 225/45/17 with 17x8 offset 45mm. would like to get the best on handling and lap time.

Given the choice between those two, I'd choose the latter.

Which wheel and tyre combo are you getting? How many track days do you plan on doing in a year? When you say you want to get the best on handling and lap time, you need to be more specific. Have you already reached the limit of your stock setup? Do you need R compound tyres? Is this a daily driven car?

I am thinking to get the enkei RPF1 with michelin pilot super sport with it. It will be once in 2 months. No, haven't reach the limit of my car yet as it has only 1000 miles right now. it will be my daily driven car as well

I actually have Pilot Super Sport 225/45/R17s on Enkei RPF1 17x7.5 +48. They work great and provided the clearance I needed for the AP Racing Sprint kit without spacers. I love my setup and highly recommend it for improved performance while preserving the stock feel.

If you want 225's, get 8" wheels.

17x8 +45 with 225/45's will fit easily, I have that setup with -2* of camber up front and it still doesn't rub on the strut.

No rubbing at all, I've put 15k on this setup since I got it in October. I'm installing TRD springs and sway bars on Saturday.
