5x100 Options
I have recently made the move into a FR-S but wondering whats options I have with the 5x100 pattern. I have two sets of Volk wheels in 5x114.3 in an Evo 8 fitment from my recent part out. I have been researching conversion adapters/spacers but wondering what are some opinions and experiences others have had. The obvious option would be to sell but one of the sets is a couple months old and mint. If spacers would work what would be a suggested size on a stock body FR-S? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.
Set 1 - TE37SL in 18x9.5 + 22 Set 2 - RE30 in 18x9 +35 |

Project kiks makes the 10mm adapters , but it'll make your first set to +12 and +25 to your second one .
The second one would fit easier without any needed excessive body works. But it also depends on how low you want to go suspension wise. The first set with +12 offset will need max negative camber on your top camber plate up front and you also need the camber bolts on the top slot of the struts. Pulled fender and rolled is necessary for sure . The rear , you would need an LCA and adjustable toe link ... And if you want to go the "stance" camber , you'd need the UCA . Just a heads up , most ppl here dislike the idea running an adapter and excessive camber. Me, I been using adapters all year along without any hick ups ... Knock on woods , camber set on -2F and -2.5R ...225/40/18 tires stretched on a 9.5 wide wheels +30 offsets on the summer set and 225/45/17 et 25 on the winter setup ..... At the end of the day , it's your car , do what you like with it ![]() Anyway , hope that helps. Welcome to the forum and enjoy the stays ... Tons of info here that we can learn together . |

I would say those are both going to be too aggressive with adapters unless you really want aggressive wheels and have something suspension/stance/bodywise in mind.

i doubt the te37s would be very easy to fit with the 10mm spacers as stated above. your better off trying out the re30 since they are also 9's compared 9.5's and you can see how they fit depending on what tire size you want to run and whether or not you want to do fender work. it is also important to state whether you are going for a stretched tire look like (stance wise) or a meaty tire. and yes the 10mm converters are your best bet
