Solution is to not speed. Getting a radar detector isn't a guarantee you wont get caught.

My personal favorite is the passport escort 9500ix. Zero false alerts on roads you've driven before and some of the best range out there.

I've still never been pulled over after many years of driving a STi and now a year with the BRZ. It saves me pretty much daily as I drive 70+ miles in light traffic.

I have a Valentine V1, and really like it. But, like mentioned above, it's not a guarantee...I got a ticket a month or so ago, because the volume got turned down, and the way the sun was I didn't see the lights. You still have to drive smart.

I have a passport 9500ix. I have the box but i would have to go into storage to get it. I used it for a cross country trip and haven't used it since. I'll give it to you 15% cheaper than any other ones you find since it's basically brand new. PM me

Valentine 1 for sure. Located on the top of your windshield not middle or bottom. Of course the only 100% way to not get caught is to not speed. But I've had the V1 for approximately 6-7 years and it definitely a life saver.

I use a combination of the passport 9500ix and Waze. When cops don't have their gun on usually someone on the freeway marks the cop on Waze.

Google RadarRoy for info about radar detectors.

Love my valentine 1 but like already mentioned it won't save you from tickets. With laser and instant on radar there are situations where they're practically useless.

I read a lot of reviews. Valentine 1 had better range but more false signals. It doesn't have the gps feature. Thats why I went with the 9500ix. But also check out the Passport Max. As with laser or instant on. I slam my breaks. At one time i was going 87 got shot slammed went down to like 75 and was okay. The cop usually shoots u multiple times to confirm. Most cops with radar detectors are lazy and just keep them on.
