Just another petition to repeal the DOT/EPA “25 Year Rule” car import ban

Hello folks,

Now before you say here is another worthless attempt at bringing some oldass beaters to the states.....

I understand that the percentage of Americans who give a fuck about bringing an old Skyline/Alpina/TVR/Chaser/you name it to the states is too insignificant for this petition to be a success.

But Im such a fanboy of some of the 80's and 90's Japanese and European legends, that I say its worth a try every single time another petition comes up.

So if you care for bringing some old cars to the states as much as I do, please please be so kind as to waste a minute of your forum-lurking time to sign the petition in the link below:

If you dont care, still please be so kind as to waste a minute of your job time/ shopping for car parts time/ beating off to p0rn time to sign the petition. Yes, you do waste a minute of your life doing something useless, but this is by far not the only minute of your life you will waste.

Perhaps for that minute you waste, Mr. Obama will finally do something useful.

I'd really like to see one of these pass. However...

That just seems like it's grasping for straws. Really? I can just picture all of the politicians sitting around, when one stands up, shakes his fist angrily, and says, "We can't sufficiently fight terrorism because we have to keep all of these damn cars out of our borders!"
