Question Steering Wheels - AT vs Manual... Same?

It seems to me there is a difference as the TRD wheel from Japan states it is for MT cars. I was told by RSD that the Provo wheel would work with AT's. Is the steering wheel between the cars a different part number? The provision for the paddles could surely come into play but unsure if there is a provision for the MT wheel allows paddles.

As far as I've heard, manual tran do not have the equipment for paddle shifters at all, might not even have the hookups. I would definitely agree that would be the reason for the different part numbers

So if buying an aftermarket wheel like Cusco etc, seems they would not fit unless AT specific?
