Whats your mileage?

hi guys i was planning on buying an accord till my insurance company said the frs will be like 3$ more so i figured why not, but i just want to know your highway mileage as ill rarely go in the city, I've heard guys getting close to 40mpg on the v6 accord which also has more power than the frs. Thanks guys

sounds like you are looking at the wrong car to me.

I get about 22 but I couldn't care less about MPGs and drive like a bat out of hell

pretty sure you could get 33+-2 if that's what you care about

A bit over 30.5 MPG, with (far too) occasional spirited driving, but I don't recommend the car for economy driving. Economy driving this car feels like most other econobox cars, many of which are better values. If you're looking to have a bit more fun with your drive watching MPGs is going to spoil it for you. If you're looking for a fun drive and/or a car to tailor to your tastes, it's a great platform and I've had my share of both.

I'm just keeping it as a precaution, i don't care for mileage but i just don't wanna have to top up on gas every 3 days, 28mpg is perfectly fine for me and i want a fun small car to drive around in, the accord is pretty big and i will probably get like 30 combined, for that little difference ill thane the FRS

25MPG is pretty easy for me to get in city driving with some fun driving when not in traffic. Be aware the tank is pretty small so I still have to fill up once a week at around 300 or so miles.

Although I do make a point of driving spiritedly on when the situation warrants, most of my miles have been racked up on the highway at about 70 miles per hour. I haven't reset the MPG monitor in the car in a long time, and it's currently showing an average of 33 MPG. That's the car's calculation. I haven't bothered to work it out myself using gallons in the fill up vs. miles driven.

If I speed up and run 85 mph, it drops to 29. On the other hand, I had a trip a while back where I couldn't get the car above 60 miles per hour because of the condition of the roads, the speed limit and the cops in the small towns I was passing through, so I reset the monitor to see what it did under those conditions. I got 36 MPG on that trip according to the car. So your foot makes a huge difference, and I think it depends a lot on how much you stay in the port injectors and out of the direct injectors. You don't have to hypermile this car to get good fuel economy.

Why don't you look on Fuelly and look at aggregated results?

21-24, but I live near and work in Tampa so not much highway driving, lots of revving out low gears to make nice echoing sounds in between the buildings.
