Talking 18x8.5 - 18x9.5 GL 57C6 Velvet Marine

Just Installed:

Car is lowered on FRS Swift Springs 1" (stock struts)

Gram Light 57C6 Velvet Marine SP

Front 18x8.5x35 Front est weight 20.5
Rear 19x9.5x40 Rear est weight 21

Tires Dunlop Sport Maxx RT
Front 225/40-18
Rear 255/35-18

Running 40 psi F&R right now but will play with pressures for best balance of ride and handling. Coming from Michelin SS's these tires are less direct but ride comparable, they suit the car well in my opinion and are about the lightest tire you will find. The carcass is supple and they should respond well to changes in pressure. I was unable to weigh the total combo with tire and wheel but will do so in the future. Surprisingly the rears felt as light as the 17's coming off the car which were 42lbs combo but proof is in the scale.

The Velvet Marine Color: I think they are absolutely beautiful and change with lighting conditions, they appear suede like, almost iridescent in color but similar to a blue anodizing effect. Be sure to clean these carefully and don't touch them with fried chicken fingers...lol

It is early days so I haven't been able to toss the car around yet but so far no rubbing, scraping or ill effects. I am well pleased thus far.

The pics are quickies with iphone but hope they help.

Looks good. Nice to see something different. Crossing my fingers for you that the finish holds up over time.

Yes, I hope the same. I was told by Mackin that it should hold up. I really wanted something different so I took the plunge on these.
