Premier in Fremont or Xpel Clear Bra Installers
I'm looking to get my BRZ clear bra'd and was trying to decide between getting it done at Premier in Fremont (with Prestige ClearguardX) or finding another installer to get Xpel. I'd like to get my front bumper, headlights, full hood, and fenders covered.
I've heard good things about Premier and my dad's friend had his Porsche done there. They're asking $2200 for the parts I mentioned. For Xpel installers I've only checked out East Bay Auto Spa and they've quoted me $1800. Does anyone know of any other installers or have any thoughts about the ones above? I'd rather save money and go for Xpel, which seems like the more durable film, but I keep hearing that finding a good installer is more important than the film used. Is the higher price of Premier worth it? |

I've used Premier before and they really are top notch. I don't know anything about the other place you mentioned.
If you're looking to save money, consider not doing the full hood. It's a bit overkill IMHO. I know it's kind of lame-looking to only have part of the hood covered with the clear bra (my previous cars were done this way), so I decided not to do the hood at all. Looking at the BRZ bumper and hood, the hood isn't really that exposed and the front bumper actually goes up a good part of the way (almost to top of the headlights).
