A very sad day . . .

Long story short, I got keyed at the monthly parking garage in downtown where I always park at. I already made a claim with my auto insurance as vandalism. How much do you think it would cost for a repair? It's just a bad luck for me I guess. I don't usually park on the 8th floor, but parking was fullearlier that day. I was out of town and didn't have to use my car till today. So it's been parked for 6 days. I believe in karma and I truly hope it would bite the jerk right back in the ass.

Why would people do such thing like this? SIGH

Garage
I had that happen on the Impreza I had before my FRS. I was in a valet lot at a really nice Portland restaurant on freaking Mother's Day about 4 years ago and they keyed the whole passenger side of the car from the engine to the trunk. I had to pay my comp deductible of $250. I know it happened in that lot because I had just came out of a Fred Meyer to buy my Mom a card and walked up towards my passenger side before I went and met up with my family. Still heated about that 4 years later.

Try minimizing with rubbing or polishing compound. That's assuming it hasn't gone down to metal.

I'd have a pro try to buff it out like mentioned. Doesn't look like it was keyed... but who knows.

Yeah, know that feeling. Just have to have see if it can be wet sanded before trying anything else.

It's not deep keyed. It's more like paint scratch. I already made a claim with my auto insurance, file a police report, and as soon as the insurance people contact me, I'll bring it in to the dealership.

Next is to ask the garage manager to have me park on lower floor where they have valet. And I will look for another secured parking garage. The manager claimed this incident is uncommon and it will not happen again. Yeah right. . .

Ps. This is even a hotel parking garage. Sigh

Run your finger over it, if your nail gets caught, you'll need a repaint.

If it doesn't, you can get it off with rubbing compound. (Use clear coat safe).

So sorry...

Sad to hear that there continue to be douche bags out there with no respect for people's property.

What garage complex? Those of use in the area need to know potentially bad places to park.

I'll contribute that the WallyPark Premier Valet Garage dinged my driver side door -- and refused to take responsibility for the damage. $1,000 later ($500 deduct) and it's all good.. but needless to say I don't say much nice about WallyPark and I certainly don't spend any more money with them!

I park at Warwick Hotel parking garage. The valet guys are nice and friendly, but now I don't trust this place anymore. They don't have a secured garage door or anything like that.

And it seems like I need it repaint because I can feel it under my finger. My car is not even 2 months old. ( Bought it on May 28th)

Sucks it had to happen to a monogram edition. But whether intentional on accident, it's always a bummer. I just got a door ding fixed not too long ago because someone opened their door into mine. Dings and things like this are bound to happen. You'll eventually realize it's just a car.

Happened to my Mini S when I had.... I hate jealous fucks. Not even man enough to try and steal it. "Oh you have that, and I like it, but jelly, so I fuck it up". So stupid.
