o2 sensor question for tsudo catback/downpipe

I'm looking to get a tsudo catback/downpipe combo for $550. I've had a tsudo n1 catback put on my '99 rs, and I like their products.

Here's what I"m looking to get now. My question is, what happens with the o2 sensors? I asked and they said this exhaust doesn't throw any codes or cel's. Is there no o2 sensor after the header on our cars? or what? Sorry, I'm not THAT familiar with exhausts. If anyone could help that'd be great

Our cats are located in the headers and the front pipe. A catback for this car will include a midpipe and muffler. A catback doesn't remove, replace, or otherwise affect any of the cats (catback literally means "from the cat back"), so the company is correct.

Downpipes are part of a turbo kit, so unless your car is turbocharged you don't have one of those.

yeah I think they mean frontpipe when they say downpipe. So will I not have any o2 sensor issues?

the exhaust kit for sale is a frontpipe + catback combo. Which is a steal at 550 i feel like

It will be quiet for a few weeks. But it will really open up after a decent amount of miles. I have the same setup.

really? Why does it get louder after a few week? I don't mind noise, just wondering why this is the case

also, this system has a high-flow cat, if I were to get cat-less uel, does that mean I'd basically have a cat-less exhaust system and my exhaust would stink? I'm just getting a bit thrown off, because on their page it says for "off-road" use only, which makes me think it doesn't have a cat. Can you clear it up for me?

Everything has a break in period. This includes the exhaust. I honestly do not know what exactly changes with an exhaust break in though. All I know is that I couldn't hear it from inside the cabin when I first got it. Now I can hear it from inside, but there is no drone.

The front pipe does have a high flow cat. I honestly have no idea if the exhaust smell is stronger though. I didn't put any focus into that aspect. You will smell it if you park in a confined space (against a wall or in a garage).

If you go with a cat-less header, then the HFC will be the only cat, and let's be honest, this isn't a high end exhaust. That single cat will not keep the exhaust fumes at bay if you got a cat-less header.

"Off-road" is used to describe any part that hasn't been particularly certified or approved for street use. One example is CARB. In California, anything that isn't carb approve is illegal. Most states don't give a damn though.
