What does it mean when?
I live in New England. For the past couple weeks you could see multiple BRZ on quite a few dealerships New Inventory.
Well on the 23rd a ship arrived carrying the BRZ with another ship landing at the end of this month. I checked the dealerships inventory and there are now quite a few less BRZ on there. A couple dealerships had 5-7 BRZ listed and on the 23rd there were i.e. 0-2 BRZ listed on their New Inventory on their website. Do you think this means that the BRZ that are no longer listed have arrived and since they have deposits on them they were taken off the dealerships listings? This is happened on multiple dealerships New Inventory listed on their website.

Maybe invoicing has gone out to the dealers and updated in their system as sold? No idea.

I started this same thread on the other brz forums. Unfortunately, when I paste the link this forum blocks out the address.

I'm in the same boat. Ordered DGM MT from Ira Subaru in Danvers, MA. Up until today there we're 5 cars (2 dgm's) on New Inventory but they have all disappeared. I called and apparently 3 have arrived Wednesday, neither of which is mine. Which is sort of bothersome considering I was 1st or 2nd to place an order there. ETA June 8th-ish according to the manager.

Same situation. I have an order with Colonial Subaru and they had 5 on the website and 0 now. I email my salesman everyday and still no update. He had told me between the 23-29 of May but now they are saying it can take until the first week of June. I do have a vin though which makes me happy.

You may have been #1 but it really depends on how long it takes them to get a color, trim, and transmission that you ordered. Many dealerships order BRZ without anyone putting a deposit on them so they get the cars sooner than later and if someone is 5th in line, if they happened to order a car that happens to match the dealerships cars that were ordered they will get it first.

It means the dealer will be receiving those cars. It doesn't mean they are available though. Just call or send an email and ask if they are pre-orders or not. That is how I found my BRZ and it arrived yesterday, picking it up soon.

DMViper,
Your car is at the dealership. It looks great. Unfortunately, the wrong one came for me, so Nancy and Melissa are trying to trade for another car within the Subaru of New England system. There is also a DGM automatic at Ira today which looks great. Dan |
