Anyone have this exhaust?

Doesn't even have a name:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/13-FRS-FT86-...42c3a6&vxp=mtr

4.5" tips and a resonated setup. Seems to be 2.5" throughout. Just don't know anything about it. Looks great and the price is unbeatable.

Also, I do have a message out to the eBay seller about who makes the muffler, any dyno sheets, etc.

2.36" ID Inner Diameter & 2.5" OD Outer Diameter

Why spend 300 on an unknown ebay exhaust when you can just spend a little more for a quality exhaust that has R&D done by a reputable vendor. I bet you that ebay exhaust adds no power and is probably a piece of crap. You would probably go through 2 of those by the time you go through one from a quality vendor.

In all fairness, no cat back adds power...
It looks like the CNT Racing exhaust (I think). No comment.

I agree, the price is making me weary, but the fact that it has stainless 4.5" tips is what I really like. I dont want to spend $500+ for an exhaust.

Honestly, if Berk was in stock with their dual tip delete, I would have purchased that.

doubt that entire exhaust is stainless...

also if you dont want to spend money for quality parts, dont mod at all.

It looks exactly like my TopSpeed.

If it's the same system (and I'm 99% sure it is), it's a Chinese-made system that's both well made and well worth the money. It appears to be all 304 SS, including flanges, and the welding is excellent. Mine fits perfectly, looks great and sounds exactly as I wanted it to sound: only a few db louder than stock at idle, deep, a nice growl above 3k and neither drone nor rasp. I paid $440 delivered from TopSpeed.

Just use a good SS band clamp instead of the cheapo junk that comes with it or it'll leak at the slip joint. I bought a Walker (# 33226) on Amazon for about $12 and it works great:

Here's my original thread.

Wow, that does look good.

I may be the guinea pig on this one guys and everyone can hate me.

I was one of the first to run some 'cheap' headers on my LS1 and they fit amazing and never had any issues.

My only concern is how this muffler sounds.

If it's the same system as mine, it's only a few db louder than stock at idle and just above. But it's so deep that it's almost a rumble. Above 3k or so, it's several db louder than stock but clearly quieter than the Invidia N1. There's no droning at all - my wife's full dual Invidia system on her FX35 is clearly louder at road speeds under load.

Don't know anything about the cat-back exhaust, but I bought a front pipe from that eBay seller a few months ago (they don't sell the front pipe anymore though). It was really cheap, about $90 shipped. It seemed pretty good for the price and fitment was perfect. I've changed it out since then and in the future I'd probably never buy some no-name cheap car parts.

Why not? You describe having gotten a good product for a fair price - where's the downside?
