Need options

Hey guys so I couldnt find what im looking for with search.

I recently got my kw v3's installed. I am now looking into buying front and rear sway bar links and dont really know which one to go with and which one to stay away from. Also I will be looking into purchasing lower control arms for the rear and ive been looking into either the cusco arms or the stance lower control arms.

If you guys have any of these items installed or know about them please let me know about it and what brands to stay away from and what is a good product. Any input would help before I make a purchase.

Thanks in advance!

Whiteline, cusco, or SPL in my opinion. Anything less is uncivilized.

well, You're in the right sub forum, but you just need to do a little reading and searching. Do your own research for what your needs are and you will find the product that is right for you.

not into buying for just buying it. the reason is after lowering the car with the kw's the links are really close to the LCA's in the front and when you go over bumps it hits the LCA

did you slam the car? i had v3's and was relatively low and never had an issue.

as for rear LCA, i have cusco, and i hate them. adjusting them is incredibly annoying. go with SPC and call it a day, they are cheap and they work. you might need toe arms too.

as for sways...well we dont know how you drive and what you like the car to do (over/understeer)

any of the adjustable endlinks will generally work.

you can even make your own using industrial grade rod bearings.

but I'm always surprised to hear people say that the swaybar hits the control arms because the control arms move with the strut and the swaybar is attached to the strut... and in the rear the swaybar is attached to the control arm so it should move with the control arm..

where is the point of contact?

it isnt completely slammed. i just dropped it to the point where i dont have wheel gap. it is possible that it is not hitting at all. but the last time i had the car up on a hoist when doing my oil change and i noticed the sway bar link really close to the front LCA. the rear cant hit because it is mounted on the LCA.

I second this... Cusco seems to have the quality, but adjusting them requires dropping one end... twistie twistie... reinstall... nope not perfect. drop it again... adjust some more. The alignment shop hates me for it and charged an extra 50.00 on top of the standard alignment fee. But once they are dialed in you will have no worries if you don't have a need for constantly adjusting for track days etc.

I didn't have much luck with SPC Rear LCAs due to camber setting slipping.

...and yes you will need rear toe correction beyond what the stock adjustment can offer with anything around 1.75" or more. For this I did go with SPC rear toe arms and very happy with them and they have easy precise adjustments.
