PCV adaptor
Does anyone know the thread pitch for the pcv valve? I want to convert it to a -10 an fitting for a catchcan. I've read that the older EJ motors use 1/4" BSPT, which I bought, but was too small.
*EDIT* seems like people here don't like to share knowledge, so I'll post my findings for future searches. As per this thread (credit goes to Dan@AWD): http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48447 Quote:

Nobody knows this? if you have a kit, just read the size on the package.

From work I can't see pictures in the tread but I guess it's about 9=>15 mm conversion for catch can install. Cusco produces a special adapter which fits and works very well (I have one):

![]() Thats what I used to connect my AVO catch can since their adapter is wrong. Its a 3/8" standard thread I then went to 3/4 to get the right hose size. I got the fitting at an Ace hardware Nuts and Bolts store. I used high temp thread sealant. |
