WV: 04 STI Low miles Built 400+ AWHP 33K on chassis 1500 on engine $25K

Built 2004 STI with 33K miles on chassis and 1500 the new short block (replaced in 2012) Clean title in hand. Located in Huntington WV. Price: $25,000

I wouldn't mind seeing trade offers for another comparably built and valued STI (04,05 preferred) but i would entertain the idea of trading for an 06-07 STI or a built BRZ or FRS. Black would be my first choice but wouldn't mind another WR Blue car. I'm just looking for a change.

Even though i'm a noob this is my third WRX. I bought this car in 2009 from a military guy in GA. I'm the second owner. Previous owner had the car built and tuned buy TopSpeed of ATL GA. He spent a ton of money on mods (well over 20K from what I understand). It put down 441 AWHP and 454 Torque on the dyno at the TS shop.

I replaced the short block in 2012 due to a cracked block. I had the new engine installed privately by an ex-Subaru master technician. The car was originally running a 26 psi + meth map but when the new block was installed. Boost is now set to 19 PSI to be a little more conservative. This should put the car somewhere in the 400 AWHP range. Top Speed suggested that I bring it in for a re tune due to the new block. That hasn't been done yet but I do plan on it. The car stills runs great and pulls like a beast but does have a little sputter/hesitation at low rpms. Lots of research has pointed to iridium plugs not being properly gaped. I plan on changing the plugs soon. The next option would be to try the coil packs. I've just been putting it off because its just more or less annoying. The hesitation only occurs when cursing at low rpms. With a little gas and under WOT it smooths out just fine.

Sadly I cant provide a comprehensive mod list because I don't know everything. I know that mod selections where made by top speed to achieve the 450 AWHP goal. Here is what i do know.

*700 HP rated Act clutch and flywheel (stage 3 i believe)
*Ive been told the turbo is a GT35R
*Perrin FMIC
*Methanol Injection Kit (replaces washer fluid reservoir and washer fluid goes in the intercooler water spray tank in the trunk)
*1000cc injectors
*Walbro 255 fuel pump
*Turbo back exhaust system
*pretty insane adjustable suspension system + a bunch or handling mods (ill try to get more pics up)

Exterior

ISPEC body kit
Amber in headlights deleted
Clear fender side-marker lights installed
Debadged (other than JDM Impreza badge in grill)
Rear window roof spoiler added (06-07 STI)
Rear quarter panel trim from 06-07 STI added
225/40R18 Nexen tires (3K on them)
Unknown 18in wheels (they were once gold and were painted black) the paint is starting to chip a bit. Need blasted and powder coated but limited rash.

There is so much more....please request pics for specific mods and post if you notice things I'm missing.

A few other things to mention

The original owner did have the car re painted when he had the body kit done. He said he wanted to go ahead and do it to have a little bit of extra metal flake added to the paint "blue ice" he called it. The paint is clean. Id give the body a 7 out of 10. I ran a car fax when i bought it. It was clean. I also had a ocal body shop look at it and the said there where no signs of an accident and that it had only been painted.

Also the front bumper has some damage due to the car setting so low. I've since adjusted the suspension to raise it up a bit to avoid further rash. I've also applied black duck tape to hide the scars and help it look a little better. I've been planing on replacing the bumper ASAP.

Lol, good eye! I live in West Huntington. Most of these pics are at my house in Huntington, a shopping Plaza in Ceredo or at the mall in Barboursville. The video was shot on the back Road to the airport crossing from Huntington into Ceredo.

Just a heads up. Low interest might be due to the fact that you are priced the same as revworks' sti that they are selling. Same car just wayyyy more stout... Just sayin. Literally $25k for theirs. Fresh everything making right over 600whp

Spring Valley-Goodwill-Walkers Branch. 85 on WB is insane, that road is narrow, rough, and never straight.....don't know about your car but your nuts are making too much HP.
