The guys and gal over at Perrin

awesome group to work with. I've been harassing @PERRIN_Chris and @PERRIN_Mladen for the last what seems like eternity because my exhaust was rattling. I am fortunate enough to be nearly 15 min away from Perrin so I got the chance to harass them in person as well. Down to earth people and will defiantly go above and beyond to take care of their customers. I highly suggest these guys. Even if their prices suck sometimes, their customer service makes it worth it. Even @PERRIN_Christina was fun to pick on. @PERRIN_Jeff if your ever on these forums at all anymore. All these guys deserve praise and a rise. Defiantly a strong group you have there to represent your company.

So why was your exhaust rattling and what did they do to fix it?

My midpipe didn't have enough clearance through the transmission tunnel. (Resonated) so when ever I got on and off the gas it would rattle like crazy. I couldn't figure it out how to get more clearance. But I knew exactly where it was hitting and I knew exactly what the problem was every time I put it in the air.

We did a few things, the bolt on the front pipe didn't have a washer, so when it was tightned down, it pulled the whole exhaust over to the side, making the clearance less for the resonator and hit the transmission tunnel. Fixing the hanger by adding a washer, and adding the metal shaft collars to the hangers (all 5 were missing) added a lot more clearance so it'd never hit again!

I second this. These guys are amazing to work with. I have a auto and the resonated front pipe with the flex pipe made the exhaust wobble a ton on idle. They were super helpful and sent me the resonated pipe with no flex. Everything has been great. Been on their exhaust since last fall.

with how much I paid for all my perrin parts I'd hardly consider them over priced...they are on par or cheaper than nearly all the reputable brands and provide great customer service
