86 Vs. Taxi. 17/06/2014
Alas, my beloved 86 had an unexpected rendezvous with a taxi on Tuesday morning on Rivonia Road. The idiot thought it would be a good idea to make a U-turn in the middle of nowhere and without looking.

Sorry to see that Brian - hope you and your pax are ok. I detest those taxi drivers for their cavalier attitude towards driving, other road users and for their own passengers too. The police always seem to turn a blind eye as well. I think we can all relate to this and I'm sure we all have stories of near misses involving those (insert appropriate adjective).
Hope the insurance do what they're paid to and it all comes right for you. |

I also had a taxi changing lanes on the highway without looking and I had swerve to the next lane to miss him, luckily there wasn't another vehicle next to me. These taxi guys are inconsiderate drivers. |
