SCCA Friday Fun PDX @ Lime Rock

I know it's short notice but we are having this "PDX" event this Friday. Last year was a blast everyone had a great time and ended having more driving time than most could handle. Most of the driving will be taking place on the skip barber training courses which are a pair of 1/3 mile courses that that link to get end to make about a 5/8 mile course also.

These courses are a lot of fun and are very demanding of both the cars and drivers. Expect about 8 min runs at a time with 2 to 3 cars on course at a time. These courses are basically feel like a fast autocross with elevation change that last much much longer than any normal autocross. You will be giving you tired and brakes a very heavy workout so come prepared.

We will also we doing one 15-20 min instructor led session on the real race track speeds will be around 80% of rce speeds depending on how comfortable the instructors feel they can safely push the individuals in their groups.

If you have never done an auto cross or track day or just want to get a bunch of seat time in your car to dial it in or get a feel for it this is a great opportunity to do so. Also, ride along instructors will be available for anyone who needs them.
