Brembo bleeders with anti-seize ok?
Hi guys, I've read that the bleeders on brembo calipers are prone to seizing up and getting stuck. Would it be a good idea to apply a tiny amount of anti-seize on the bleeder threads as a preventative measure?
My concerns are mainly with whether the anti-seize will contaminate the fluid and clog lines? I wouldn't imagine it would seeing that it's only going on the threads.....but comments? |

I would think a light coating should be fine. Never a bad idea to use anti-seize when it is a steel bolt going into aluminum. My advice is don't overtorque the bleeders.

And, don't coat the first 1½ threads or so; otherwise, you're going to have a tough time getting them started and you'll run the risk of cross-threading them. |
