Corsa vs Invidia Q300
Has anyone heard both the Corsa and Invidia Q300 exhausts in person? I'm particularly interested in how they sound differently from inside the car, cruising on the highway, and when paired with an aftermarket header and/or front pipe.

Different car (LS1 Camaro), but I've heard a Flowmaster muffler which had highway drone. Corsa sounded nice and deep with no rasp, no drone. I'm be going with them for my next exhaust. The Corsa pipe ID is 2.5"

I have a catless header and the q300, if you want quiet with some roar at WOT its the exhaust for you. If you want loud don't get the q300

Corsa over all other exhaust for this platform. There are a few on par with it, like the Perrin 2.5" and the ARK GRiP or ARK DTS.

Corsa vs Invidia Q300
I have a full Invidia setup with a catted front pipe and a Q300TI. It's amazingly quiet when cruising and sounds fantastic at WOT. Fit and finish is top notch, I LOVE mine! Volume inside the car is barely louder than stock almost un noticeably so.

Corsa sounds fantastic... I know a couple guys who have it and have heard it as well as the q300. I would take the Corsa over the q300 any day

Well that's more difficult for me to answer because I have the nameless 5" axleback on my car and I am putting the OP/DP combo on this weekend. When it came down to it though I was between the nameless and the corsa system.
There are a few reasons I went nameless over corsa: 1. nameless has a more raw sound I guess you could say whereas the sound of the corsa has been tuned with their baffled muffler. There is also a slight hint of "muscle car" in the corsa which I think is to be expected since that's what they normally build exhaust systems for. 2. nameless is a smaller company and they tig weld all of their exhaust systems. corsa is bigger and more into mass production. With nameless, I believe you are getting a better quality piece. 3. when comparing the 2.5" nameless system to the corsa system (also 2.5") I can get a header back system from nameless for the same price I can get a corsa catback. This is because nameless does not replace the stock midpipe for 2.5" systems as they did not see any benefit (I asked @Ryan@Nameless and that was his answer). Replaceing the OP/DP gives you the biggest gains on our cars other than a header. 4. With the header back from nameless I can shave about 10lbs off of my car (not that I can feel it but I like shaving weight where possible) whereas the corsa system is equal weight to stock. Both systems are great but that's why I chose nameless over corsa and I am very happy with my decision |

What about the volume between the two. I've heard the corsa and I love the sound, but I'm afraid it might be a bit loud under load, especially after I get my catted header and down pipe.

I would say the volume is about equal. Almost quite/no drone when cruising but a very nice sound when under load. It's not quiet but it's not obnoxious like some systems are

This is my concern with either the corsa or nameless vs q300. I currently have p&l catted header, stock op/fp, and perrin 2.5 resonated cb. I don't mind the loudness except for highway cruising. The sound is okay, but very smooth and deep, without much character, unlike like the nameless. I liked the perrin when I had a stock header though. I just really need something that's going to be quieter cruising on highway.

I don't like the sound of the q300, perrin or sp elite but I'm worrier the corsa or nameless will be too loud. Especially at startup and under normal acceleration. |

If you want quiet cruising go Q300
