That's a defrost vent. Turn on your defrost and crank up the fan, maybe it'll blow out. More likely it'll just die in there and your car will forever be a little heavier.

First thing that came to mind was the Mazda 6's problems with spiders doing there thing under the hood.
Had a similar thing happen 2 weeks ago. Some SUV parked like less than 2 feet beside me. I drove out, pulled to the side to check for a ding and then as I got back in a huge wasp flew inside but then just disappeared without a trace. Back to the paranoia front, a really bad day for my beloved 86 as there's was a bad keying not on the bumper but on fender. Looks like 4-500 bucks to fix |

Only reasonable thing to do is transfer the title to the bee and sell the car… He owns it now.

So, to give you a basic understanding. The bee flew into the vent, crawled down a long tube until it reached the main defroster. At that point it could crawl out anywhere along the channel at the base of the window, crawl down into the system, or crawl they entire length of it and end up crawling down another long tube and come out the same vent but on the passengers side. The circular vent below the defroster, called Duct, Heater to Register, No.2, also follows it's own tubing inside the dash directly below the tubing I just explained. This tubing runs to the center dash vent, above the CD head unit. Then of course the other center vent there (two of them above CD) follows it's own duct and comes out at the circular vent on the passengers side (Duct, Heater to Register, No 1.) From where each of these tubes leave the center vents, there is an intersection where it starts to bend and head toward the circular vents, at the farthermost point back into the dash it where is drops downward and into the system. I'm not sure if these two sets of ducting meet somewhere down in but it would make sense if they did. Hope this helps. |

Looks pretty deep like the one I claimed last year to the tune of the same amount. Was thinking touch up paint. Any product you recommend? I don't have my dream porsche yet so I'm prolly not going to buy that swirly machine thing just yet. Probably should confer to the other topic forum lol.

Meguiars wax should hopefully get most of it. So sad how people can vandalize other peoples property with no remorse. I hope you get that scratch taken care of even if you can't get all of it out.

OP said wasp, not bee. Bee will wander out later, if still alive, seeking an exit. The wasp will only be interested in revenge.
