Swirl Removal :( Wolfgang Duo & Porter Cable 7424XP
Hello,
Anyone weighing in on this with experience would be greatly appreciated. I am thinking about pulling the trigger on this kit... [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Wolfgang-Duo-Porter-Cable-7424XP/dp/B003WHCLHS/ref=sr_1_7?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1395407081&sr= 1-7&keywords=wolfgang+swirl"]Amazon.com: Wolfgang Duo & Porter Cable 7424XP: Automotive[/ame] The previous owner of my car had it for about a year and put 8k miles on it and yet in that time I'm assuming the Chicago winter lead him to automatic car washes. These in turn just ravaged the clear coat with swirls on my new to me car. I am considering buying this kit and attempting to fix the swirls myself. Anyone use this and if so is it as easy as using a regular random orbital to apply wax ext. I have used buffers before to wax and buff cars but never something this powerful with a cutting liquid. I figure for the same price as paying a professional I could own the equipment and do it myself to any of vehicles. The only picture I have that shows these is one from my lowering springs measurement picture. This photo gives you the idea the car is absolutely covered in these swirls... ![]() OR would it just be better to leave this to the professionals. I would love to get this back to original state she is now garage kept and only driven on Friday to the office and the weekend occasionally. It hasn't even seen rain since I've owned it ![]() ahead of time for anyways that replies.

Junkman2000 is all over the web with DIY. He has a series of videos of how to use this kit on your car. It is safe and reliable. You can do this yourself. I am going to get mine soon. He gives you exactly what you need and how to do it. Very instructional and detailed.
