How was everybody's weekend?

Mine was awesome, at the PACNW Supra meet in Abbottsford, Mission and Harrison, BC.

Pics:

Mine's the black Mk3 nearest on the right.

My car in all its beat-up glory.

Guess which is faster? (yeah it's the Mk4...)

My car beside an awesome-looking '87 car.

Wicked Mk2. What motor is that?

It's a freakin' 2JZGTE with a nice-sized single on it!

The 'Got Milf?' Mk4 was here. Look up the story, pretty funny.

As much as I love the Mk3, things like this only seemed to happen to the Mk4 guys...

So here's my F/T/R-86/S deal. If my car is cleaner and faster (not just straight line, twisties too) than the new one by its uncertain in the future release date. Toyota doesn't get my new-car money. (Unless it picks up chicks like a Mk4.) I've got some ways to go cosmetically and a bunch of little issues. So we'll see how long it takes Toyota, and how long it takes me.

LOL that's so true... Sound's like you had fun time.

I wish, I took some pics, but we played some soccer (or some places called football) w several on my friends & chicks.

After that, it got too hot to play, so did some water fight and there were few unexpected "oops" happen here and there & it was fun.

That would have been a better location for the meet, but sadly not in the Pacific Northwest...

Another summer weekend, and another car show. This time the Vancouver Subaru Club.

Can anyone notice what's special about this wagon?

And some pics of the cars of the show's main sponsor, Rocket Rally. A semi-local rally team and tuner with an awesome Dyno Dynamics AWD dyno setup.

No pics of my Legacy though... Not the most exciting car.

Now maybe you guys get an idea of how interested in the FT/R-86/S I am. I'm principally a Toyota guy, but do have a Subaru daily driver (bought after Toyota bought their part of Subaru). This new one is nicely a combo of, hopefully, the best of both companies.

It's a wagon! That's why it's so special!

put the joke on the side... your pic is really hard to see it, but my bet is on the fenders. both front and rear looks wider than stock GD wagon series.

Here's one of OEM bugeye wagon looks like

See the fenders aren't wide? A lot of ppl don't really see that cuz stock sedan bugeye has the wide like this

...but reality, wagon don't have that wide fenders.

Am I wrong?

^ The guy knows his Subarus.

Absolutely. It's a custom wide-body wagon.
