What Options & Accessories
K, We had decent member having FR-S now (& BRZ). Now, what kind of options or accessories do you want to see in FR-S or if they have these option or accessories, makes you want to buy FR-S?
IMO seeing >$9k BBk isn't a smart idea. Reality, who's willing to spent >$9k brake it? It's about 1/3 of the car's worth and some of you already commented about if that much money, you can buy equal or greater brake kit plus extra fun stuff. Don't even bother putting supercharger or turbo. Cuz I gonna ignore every single one of em. Here are some examples:
My personal opinion

Tirerack has BBKs listed already for the FRS. So there yah go. Proper Aftermarket Turbo Kits will be available in I am guessing a few months once testing and R&D and good to go.

Push-start system, not just the button but the whole system, preferably TRD.

Just going off OEM parts? I want Toyota, TRD, and STi Japan to bring everything that it offers in Japan to the U.S. and not stick us with just TRD USA and SPT parts. Please and thank you!
Personally, I want the following: -STi wheels, suspension, front splitter, rear diffuser, and titanium ball shift knob. -STi or TRD sway bars and TRD door stabilizers. If either company were to come out with a 4 piston front and 2 piston rear brake setup, I'd go for that eventually. The TRD 6pot/4pot setup is overkill... Styling-wise, I'd like to see: -sharkfin antenna -chrome trim rings for the cupholders -frameless rearview mirror -clear front sidemarkers -rear taillight garnishes -maybe one of the different fender garnishes offered by Toyota or Subaru.

As far as OEM, the higher trim HID+LED strip headlights and the dual AC (don't really need the push to start); both are available in Japan and Europe, so I hope they make them optional for the FR-S (factory or dealer installed)

86 Style HID/LED Headlamps
Foglamps (coming soon) BRZ Limited Style Leather/Alcantara Seats Better Navigation/Satellite Radio/Phone System with Android Support HomeLink Leather/Red Stitched E-Brake Handle Leather/Red Stitched Knee Pads (maybe) These are all things that are already made for this car (aside from the Nav System) so I don't see why not. If Scion wants to make more money, they need to get these options in the states.

I think the HID Kits in Japan are for the existing HID housings.
I think they are just kits to change the color output. I could be wrong though. That being said, I'd like the actual HID housings with LED strip and Push Button Start/Keyless entry. |

Anyways, keep it coming! More members commenting is better! & no, it doesn't HAVE to be some current TRD (JP or USA) stuff. TRD USA or SCION might make those parts... can't guarantee anything |
