Just how difficult is it to install a body kit?

I've been snooping around the DIY forum, and if there is a topic on this, I must be blind! I was wondering, though, how difficult is it to install a body kit?

I have since fell in love with ML24's Subaru BRZ Wide Body Aero Lip Kit. I love the design, I love the colors, I love the way everything looks, and I must buy it!

Particularly these colors (to whoever chose these colors in the ML24 crew, you are gods)

Before I ever saw this photo I was looking for this theme, and they nailed it!

If any of you have seen my other posts, you'll already know that I know absolutely nothing about cars. I want to be able to create, fix and build everything on my own - at least as much as possible - and I definitely have a lot to learn.

Before I dive into the hardcore functionality of the vehicle (if I ever decide it needs an upgrade in the first place), I want to focus on aesthetics - a field I will feel much more comfortable with to start.

But, I have no idea how to do it at all? For a first attempt and any vehicle work, would you recommend a complete new-guy to attempt it? And, do you know of any good places to look where I can find the information to be able to successfully do this?

As a side question, What colors are these by name?

Difficulty will come from the type of the kit and the quality of the kit. Lip kits are generally just a few self tapers under the frame with double sided tape. Body kits(a true body kit) generally include new complete bumpers and side skirts, which usually require modification of the parts and fiberglass/bondo work
