Kurt Busch

Even if you're not a Nascar fan, you gotta admit that he ran a damn good race at the Indy 500 today and finished 6th. Not bad for a guy who's never driven an Indy car race before.......at all. Now it's off to Charlotte for the Coke 600..... I think when Tony Stewart did the double he finished 6th at Indy and 3rd at Charlotte. Let's see what Kurt does tonight.

I'm drinking a Corona with lime right now.

You can have any brew you want, as long as it's a Corona

If I'm not a NASCAR fan, how would I know he ran a great race?

Did he do something other than turn left? If not, it's not important.

Do you ever wonder why Americans have a reputation for intolerance?

Because our largest racing sport is pathetic?

On the topic of intolerance, how many black drivers are there in Nascar?

Say whatever you want but the best race car drivers in the US and many of the best drivers in the world drive in NASCAR. These guys can drive in other disciplines and be competitive right out of the blocks. Drivers from other disciplines come to NASCAR and it takes a year or two before they can compete. It is simply a matter of going where the money is. Most the race car drivers in the world can only envy making the kind of a living that even the lower tier NASCAR drivers do. The elite few in F! are the only ones that have it as good.

No, I am not a NASCAR fan but I do recognize driving talent. Look up the video of Ken Gushi teaching Joey Logano to drift. Who was the student and who was the master?

@Rampage Nascar brings in more money and has more fans than any other motor sport. It is aired in over 150 countries every weekend during the season. All of my friends in Japan and the Philippines are huge Nascar fans. I personally only watch maybe one race a year but the popularity of it is undeniable. Most of the drivers in nascar can get behind the wheel of anything and be competitive. Tony Stewart also races boats. Jeff Gordon does rally and so on.

I am much less of a drifting fan than I am of NASCAR but Logano adapted to drifting in an incredibly short time and Gushi was in awe.

For the record, I could not car less about F1 and WRC.

I attend GT races. I prefer to watch Pirelli World Challenge, Continental Sports Car Challenge, BTCC, Super GT, FIA Touring Car, DTM Touring Car, Tudor USCC and LeMans.

When the NASCAR drivers come to play in GT or Prototype cars they are fast immediately. I respect their talent.

Gushi must have never been to a dirt track before.

So wait. Kurt Busch is some kind of race car driver? I thought he was the heir to the Busch brewery?
