UltraGauge

Hi,

Somebody have this ODB monitor ?

It's possible to retrieve the oil temp ? like the scangauge ?

Did you happen to look at the "gauges" page on that website? Doesn't list anything related to oil. So I would say no.

Yes, i see that ..

but somebody here have the UltraGauge with the oil temp working i think :

Pm the person you know for a fact has it working correctly and ask him how he did it? I'm just saying the company's own website lists every gauge except oil related. So I wouldn't get my hopes up.

depends on the car, and what data is available. ultragauge is just a relay of data. If it finds the code associated with a certain monitor, and then displays it for you. It shouldn't matter what that code is. Oil temp is monitored on this car, so it shouldn't be hard to tap into that.

that being said, I have an ultragauge, and have been using the engine temp (or something like that) gauge to see if it is oil temp. It general sits around 190 here in texas, but even driven hard doesn't go too much above 200. so I can't say for sure if it is oil temp or not.
