We are giving samples of our Prototype Gloss paste wax with any order. Gloss paste wax comes in 1 oz sample. It does spread VERY far.

After you order please email us at sales@stayfreshcarcare.com to request this product.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend

David

Would 1 oz be enough to wax an entire FR-S? Are there different colors for different colored paint?

I've never used this particular wax but I'm sure you could do an FR-S 2 or 3 times with 1oz of it.
I use less than 1/2 oz of another paste wax to do my whole car.
There's a term we use on a detailing forum I am on..."Thin is In!"
Any time you use a wax or sealant, everything you wipe off after it dries is just waste so the thinner you spread it the better...less waste. There is only a very very thin layer that bonds to the paint so laying it on thick then wiping it off is like just throwing it on the floor.
Once you develop a good technique it is very surprising just how little it takes.

I'll let the OP answer your second question but I've never heard of waxes for different colors. I use Wolfgang Fuzion and it is pink but it's not for pink cars!

Very solid points

Applying to much paste will cause longer curing times. We are especially seeing this more in our sealant. You need to give the paste the ability to bond to the surface, simply applying then wiping away is going to be a waste of product. Yes 1 oz should be more then enough. We are in debate on how much to offer our customers and price. Our products are very well priced vs. our competitors already. We have no price set on our prototype gloss paste wax or sealant paste wax.

The high gloss paste wax is more for giving you a wet look vs protection. So for example, applying our paste wax before a car show is best.

The color of the wax is not going to play any roll in its ability to perform. Its just something we did in the lab. We are also adding amazing scents to our paste waxes as well.
