Transmision Problems Question

Good morning, I apologize in advance if this topic has been discussed before I try to find info did not find any.
A couple of US FRS owners in Puerto Rico are going Turbo like 7 of us and now we are questioning the transmission of the FRS. One FRS broke his trans but I think that they did too many passes in the mustang dyno like 1000+ was a shop car to develop tune and turbo kits.
Anyone have problem with their trans after 300whp?
After what WHP have you experience problems?
What steeps should we take to prevent or strength out trans and gears?
Thanks in advance Guys!!!

Go to the issues technical topics section http://www.ft86club.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=72

Go to search, adnvance search and search for Titles Only "transmission".

What Sportsguy said. The cliff notes though, transmissions are rated based on TQ not hp.

You can probably get away with about 250 ft lbs, after that it's a time bomb. It will go, you just don't know when.

Aggressive driving will hasten it's death, as will more power, power shifting, and shifting at high revs.

Rev matching and double clutching will keep your trans alive longer, and don't skimp on the maintenance.
