Winter car

I'm starting to greatly regret my choice to drive my brz last winter. Especially as I sink more money into it... I'm going to keep an eye out for something I can beat through the Canadian winters and salt ...

Looking at early 2000 Subarus, Toyota trucks and crvs. I want something half fun, not a practical civic/corolla.

What would you guys want?

I hear ya man, it was fun as shit but the paint takes a beating.

I was looking at a prelude for $2,000, that's fwd and fairly cheap, and it goes alright.

Older Subaru wagon or cheap 4X4 depending on how bad your winters are.
