Did the same thing on my new bumper. Had them filled in the two holes.

BRZ is a little more tricky. Pretty much a big ass hole in the bumper where the emblem base bolts through. And it needed to be sanded properly to match the hoods lines

I despise badges with a passion but I don't trust any body shop near me to shave out and smooth in the badge holes OR paint match those spots. So I'm just gonna plasti dip em and be done with it.

Thanks man! It's defiantly solid to have a body shop that your cool with, especially if your going to do anything bigger
down the line. After I detail it, the cars going back in the booth for opticoat!

I think it is easier to shave the emblem off a BRZ than a FR-S. On a BRZ, you will only be needing to fill the huge hole after remove the emblem. On an FR-S, if you notice, their is a curve on the top of the emblem. So it will be really hard to make it smooth.

Looks awesome! I've wanted to do this so badly, but the price quote I've gotten are pretty outrageous and I worry about how how it'll come out (basically I want there to be no depression from where the badge sits - as few jobs like this I've seen done it's less noticeable, but you can still see where the lines don't match).
What was the process your shop did for this one? I'm curious what they used to fill the hole with - was it bondo? |

Yeah - pretty sure you'd have to have the whole bumper repainted or it would just look awful.

It looks great IMO!
I prefer the cleaner no badge look. I wish it was a dealer option Nick C.
