People with first generation spyder taillights, I need your help!

I've had these taillights on my BRZ for almost a year. The light bar during the day has a pink look to it, but looks amazing during the night. Anyone have any ideas of how to make them look less pink? I was thinking about maybe smoking them a little. What do you think?

best bet would be to take them apart and apply some vht red to the pink parts..

Paint the lens red -- professionally, with VHT, or with metalcast.

How hard do you think it would be to apply VHT to just that part? I didn't see how to take them apart really

they are very likely epoxy sealed, so you'd need to cut them open, figure out how to take that one part from the rest of the housing, do the painting, clearcoating, wetsanding to make it look awesome, then close it all back up with some new 5-min epoxy..

Too much work for such a little thing lol. Thanks for the help though I'll probably just do what Shindig suggested.
