Which to buy: Borla UEL or OFH????
I want to buy an UEL header but dont want to spend too much. Would the borla or openflash header be better for power or are they about the same? Also for those that own them are there any fitment issues with either one?

In my opinion the only reason to choose a Borla header over the OFH is the warranty. Aside from that, it's no contest in terms of materials and workmanship. Had the OFH been on the market when I purchased my Borla I would have absolutely choosen it instead. Here's a little review with pictures I wrote on Amazon of my Borla's build quality.

If you have the cash go with something higher quality. Otherwise, I recommend Revworks as well. Then OFH. I say buy most of the exhaust used(whatever quality works) but make sure the header is good quality and new! I did this, and it came out to around 1300 after all is said and done.

I'm sure OFH will certainly be worth it... when I actually receive mine that is
. I love my Open Flash Tablet, which is why I wanted the header but be warned that their production runs are severely small each batch by their supplier so you may be waiting in line for quite sometime. My original date given for the header batch seems to have been pushed back further. Totally to hear.I'm also tempted each time by the Raceseng header when Raceseng starts releasing teaser pics of the development process on their Instagram page.

I say OFH. I have the Borla ..it performs and sounds excellent. My flanges were good but the flex joints rattled till I wrapped/clamped them. The OFH is a much nicer piece....much higher quality.

Borla, OFH, Revworks and JDL UELs all make about the same power and sound very similar (unless you're really into splitting hairs). OEM, Borla and JDL feature flex sections to help prevent cracking. Borla and JDL offer essentially lifetime warranties. OFH and Revworks both come without flex joints and only 1 year warranties. Revworks and Borla are made entirely of 304SS while JDL and OFH use mild steel flanges. Borla, Revworks and JDL are made in the USA while OFH is made somewhere overseas (Openflash won't say where). Caveat emptor.

I recently installed Borla UEL header and I think it's okay. Like 6speedsam mentioned, there are some rattles either from flex joint or the collector. Make sure you inspect before you install, so you don't have to install twice. OFT is a really nice affordable piece too, but I just didn't want to wait so long to get it. Overall I'm happy with the borla header here. Sounds great, performs great with OFT stage2!!
