Toyo Proxes 4+

I did a search but didn't see if any one is running the Toyo Proxes 4+?

If so any reviews thinking of this as my next tire with all of the rain here in the PNW

I had them on my old 2.5RS. I liked them. If I remember correctly, they were a little loud, but the tread wear was decent and the wet and dry traction were very good, even in super cold weather (Salt Lake City). They weren't good in snow, but they're not a snow tire. I didn't take them off road, so I can't comment on their worthiness there.

Edit Upon further review, I had the Proxes 4, not the Proxes 4+. Disregard my opinion. The Proxes 4 did have an awesome tread design though.

I have to agree. I haven't had them on long but so far I like them. They are a little louder then stock but definitely not unbearable. I can't comment on snow traction because I have snow tires, but overall I think they are good for the money and you won't regret them.

You may also want to take a look at the T1 Sports, I'm liking mine - great grip. http://toyotires.com/tire/pattern/pr...e-summer-tires

They also look great in a 245/40!

Exactly my experience with the old Proxes 4's I had on my old WRX. They actually seemed to be significantly grippier than the stock summer tires in the dry and the wet. However the 4+ seems to be a very different tire, so its hard to say how they would perform. But one of the guys at the tire shop I go to has them on his car and had good things to say.
