Marker light metal clips....GRRRR

For those of you who have replaced your marker lights or just taken them out for whatever reason, you know that the metal clips are extremely frustrating.

When I was putting in my new winjet headlights I accidentally broke one of the metal clips, does anybody know where to get a replacement? All I could find on ebay was the entire marker assembly, most of which didn't say if they included the clips

PLEASE HELP

Clips are part of the side markers. Dealer probably won't sell just the clips.

did it just pull out of the slot? A pulls out pretty easy, just slide it back in. I have done this many times.. if it bothers you put a little glue in the slot and put it back.
I know my A tab pulls out almost every time I replace the side markers.

the clip snapped? if it just came out, throw it back into the sidemarker with some superglue and pop them back onto the car

Someone mentioned using a zip tie once upon a time, in place of the clip.

i have the same issue, the TOP clip on the passenger side fell out and i have no idea where it went, now it just dangled. double sided tape works for a little bit but ultimately it falls out....i really need to get a new clip or find a solution for this.

See TSB 07-68-12 for an alternative way to remove the side markers. I've tried it myself and it was a lot easier.

Use 3mm tape. I broke mine too a long time ago when I kept fiddling with it. I just tape that sucker on the inside and wrap a piece over it so that it sticks to the front bumper. You can't even see it because it's cover. Still there after 1.5yrs later and a few track days.
