Carpeted mats when ordering all weather mats?

If the all weather mats were ordered on a new Monogram and are listed on the vspec sheet, will the carpeted mats also be included, since they come standard on the car and you are simply buying an extra set of mats?

Personally, I highly doubt it.

Call the dealership and ask. I don't think they will but you can state that the stock floor mats comes with the monogram and since you're paying extra for the all weather you should be able to get both. If they won't honor that then cancel the all weather and buy it there once you pick up the car.

That's exactly what I just did. The sales manager said he did not know for sure (the car is supposed to arrive later today or tomorrow morning), but he said he would make sure I get both sets.

Yes it should, you may have answered your own question--the reason why it will come with carpeted mats is because it is a standard feature.

On the other hand, the all-weather mats can be considered a port-installed accessory. Car arrives from Japan with the carpet floor mats still rolled up in its package. You can virtually look at it this way: Car arrives at port where Scion has a stock of the all-weather mats, or they can just be stocked at the dealership already. But technically, neither carpeted or all-weather will be installed. They will be in a sealed plastic.

I know at my dad's dealership, they don't open and install the carpet floor mats until the car is sold.

Another example is when we ordered a Prius, it also comes standard. So we have both the carpet and All-weather mats.

Now if you don't get both, you can argue that it is a standard feature (the carpeted ones) and they will order you a pair. They can't argue that it is a replacement, because you paid for the all-weather.

If your car happens to not have the carpeted floor mats, it's because the port replaced them due to Toyota's reputation with floor mats and gas pedals.
