Id recommend installing it yourself. Not only do you learn about your car it's free. Heard it was easy. I was quoted $120

Its super easy, places are going to charge you for an hour of shop labor for a job that'll take you 2 hours tops (assuming you have 0 knowledge and have half a brain).

Honestly, I had no experience installing anything and installed mine in about an hour at night (including jacking / cutting a seized bolt off)

Do it yourself, its not hard. For what you would pay a shop you can easily buy the tools to do it yourself.

Way to be helpful and definitely not a di ck. Since you're such a mature adult it must have been easy for you to take a step back and attempt to apply some understanding, as mature adults do.

If you've never worked on cars, never had much experience in car culture, and haven't done the research as to what's involved (that one is your fault), I can see why this seems like it would be intimidating. I do I.T. for a living and when people don't even attempt to solve a basic task on their own my first thought is to get frustrated. Then I realize where they are coming from, it's just intimidating to work on computers if it's all new to you. I've done whatever work I could do to my car in my garage by using the logic that if other idiots can figure it out (like maybe a suped up Camry driver), I certainly can.

The advice to do it yourself is great advice, otherwise a shop will charge you $80-$200 if they think they can get away with it.

Diy man. This is a good opportunity to learn about your car. Seriously you'll be happier doing it yourself

DON"T FORGET THE SAFETY STANDS!
I am assuming op hasn't crawled under a car before. Getting under a car without safety stands is asking for trouble.
