What Grille is This? - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

Anyone know anything about the grille on this BRZ? A manufacturer or name of the grille? Or is it a photoshop....i do see the photoshop looking lens flares in the pic, but the grille looks sick, much better than any mesh aftermarket grille currently available. Any info is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

It is Car Id and i agree it needs to be a real part, that is so cool looking, I'm thinking of ordering a new bumper cover ($200 at SubaruGenuineParts) and using some ABS Plastic to do something like this....I'm thinking about it. I would much rather just buy one tho.

That does look excellent, I'm just not sure how feasible it would be, as my understanding is that the front bumper beam is immediately behind the black cover.

It isn't immediately, but it is close, I think it could be done. I took the front bumper off to take the OE air intake out when I installed my Greddy Intake. I would have to look at it again, but if you had a bumper cover, and some plastic or polyurethane slats like are used in the pic above. Using that, some creativity, and a little fiberglassing I bet it could be done pretty easily. I definitely wouldn't want to attempt this on my bumper tho. Maybe I'll look around on ebay and see if anyone is selling a used BRZ bumper. Hmmm, might be another project on the horizon!!

Okay this is a photoshop...i was at carid again, and saw this pic pop up, if you look at the reflections in the bumper and on the passenger door you can see the same exact reflections as in the pic of the BRZ with the cool bumper, but they both have different backgrounds. Also as someone pointed out earlier, the brake caliper is on the wrong side on the front wheel.
