Metallic Vinyl Wrap...Opinions?
Hello everyone! Hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful day...right here in Memphis, TN
! Anyway, I came across a vehicle this past weekend at Ole Miss that was fully wrapped in either a 3M or ORACAL metallic vinyl. It looked great but didn't have chance to get pricing information from him. First off, and this question will be for anyone that has EVER put vinyl on their vehicles, no matter what type it was/is, is it worth it? The metallic wrap that he has on his car looks almost exactly like the WRB on my BRZ. In fact, side by side (i wish I would have taken a picture), you couldn't tell the difference. Too make a what is becoming a long OP thread short, in your opinions, and they are all welcome btw, is it worth it? If so, for the money, is it worth looking at different color combos or variants, like a matte look or a matte metallic look, etc.? Thank you for reading this folks, have a great day and I look forward to everyone's opinions, pictures, etc. by INTERCEPTOR II

Did you get a good close look at all the edges and the seems and the detail work? A properly professionally installed wrap job is going to be in the $2000 to $3000 price range. The more things removed from the car before wrapping the better the job will turn out as the edges and seems can be improved. I have never personally seen a car with a wrap where I couldn't tell that it was wrapped and not painted.
