I am just curious if they really do the job they advertise. They are supposed to minimize the "notorious" blind spots. Just curious, looking for a review.

I have the ones from Rexpeed. Got them from Circuit Motorsports. The drivers mirror you can see forever behind/around you. Passenger mirror is fairly close to stock in viewing degrees, maybe slightly better. Can't complain and they now have heated model mirrors available for the BRZ if yours came with heated ones. Light blue tinted. No lines on mirrors.

I'm looking at pictures of both on:
http://ft86speedfactory.com/exterior-36/mirrors-124/ Both cost the same at this vendor. Helix appears to have a vertical line about 1/4 width from the outer edge, right around where different curvature/angle should begin...don't like that. It also has "HELIX" letter at the bottom...don't like that. Anyone looked at both and prefers Helix? |

It's not what you're looking for, but:

Have you looked into the Speedline ones? That's what I have. They're convex, have the direct plug for BRZ for the heated portion (or you can wire them relatively easily to work with a FRS), and have integrated LED blinkers?
Those are what I have, will be installing in the next week or two. No writing on them at all. I wanna say they were about $150 from Phastek Sport. |
