Paintless Dent Repair

So!

We had quarter sized hail about a week ago. Had my car appraised this morning, and they called out about 1700 damage. That was a quick, dirty appraisal so there may be a lot more.

Issue is: I have a 1k deductible. So I'm left with a little over 700 to fix my car. I work at a dealership, Ford, that has a body shop. So I might be able to get a better deal on the body work.

Should I have a professional do it?
Replace hood with carbon fiber and try to remove the dents myself with dry-ice/ heat?
Has anyone ever tried the dry-ice on aluminum before?

Call a local PDR guy. Post pics.
The just might have a hard time with your roof. Avoid body work and painting at all cost. Factory paint is the best!

Might be easier to just replace your roof. I've read that it's a matter of drilling out the stock welds to remove the roof, then epoxy and optionally putting rivets [or spot welding] on the original weld spots for the new roof.
