fog light overlay DIY help!!

Hi, i recently bought a vinyl overlay from jdmfanatics and tried to install it today by myself.

I failed horribly so i am wonder if i can get help from anyone. Any input would be greatly appreciated. I think it might be easier to take out the fog light trim (guard) but dont know how to. Or i can take the fog light completely out but cant find any DIY online. Help please!

easier with fog lights out for sure. Trim just pulls out, but I'm 50/50 for breaking them. I broke one, the other was fine. Heat up the vinyl A LOT and you can get it to work then

A shop could do it, but you'd pay waaaaaaaaay too much. Check out any of the fog light install guides for how to easily remove those bezels
