Genuine Functional Rear Fog Light

Hey guys I've searched the boards and cant find a clear answer on this...

I want the rear fog to work but as a fog light, not a brake light.. The way it's meant to be, just like on German cars.

For all of you living outside of North America, how does your rear fog light turn on? is there an independant switch? or does it come on automatically with the front fog lights?

If it's independant where is it located, and can I get the genuine switch from Subaru or Toyota?

The headlight stalk will have 2 fog light switches on it outside of NA. I wired my rear one to come on with the front, I posted instructions on how to do this.

My bad for the bold!!

Ok i see. I had read your write up, when u turn front fog lights the rear goes on as well.
I was wonder about the genuine switch to turn rear fog on. From what i understand. Its on the head light stalk. And just found a picture of it on another thread

Thnx for ur input!!

I already installed the stalk with the switch I just couldn't find time to start the wiring on mine. I already figured out which wires, relays and fuses need to be installed (which is not on the USDM BRZ) . Its a very tedious work actually. You need the service manual for the wiring layout and here's the link to the thread I did my research on.

Good luck!!!

Kmbkk is also trying to figure this out. Here's the research he has been able to find.

It's been too cold for me to try it. But as soon as the weather is nicer, I'll try it.

If you figure this out before I get to try, please share.
