Data Log or Monitoring

All,

Please excuse the lack of knowledge or proper term, but I am searching for a software to be able to monitor and data log my drive. I am curious if ecutek can perform this task. If so, which software do I need from ecutek. And if ecutek cna not do the job, which software and part will I need?

I truly appreciate the feedback.

Regards,

exam2300

Do you want to just log things, or do you also want to flash a new tune to the ECU?

No offense, but if you don't know the proper terminology or know what you're after, then you probably don't need the data you're after.

What kind of data do you want, and what do you want to do with it?

Send a message via AIM to King Tut
If you merely want to datalog the OBDII port channels, then there are much cheaper solutions than an EcuTek license and cable.

Get a ELM327 bluetooth module on ebay and the "torque app" for Droid.

Play with that and see if it is all you need. If not, you are only out ~$15

The reason why i suggested Ecutek cause i have the license and cable already thru my JR-SC upgrade.

And no offense at all... I get it...

Since I am not firmuliar with Ecutek, what software can I use from them? And do I have to pay extra?

You have all you need. Just need to install the software in your computer and log away...

@jamesm would have responded to this in no time...

You download Ecutek app downloader, and that will download to your computer all you need.

How do you log with torque? I only see the real time data. I'm going to a track day and would like to see my oil temps after.

While viewing realtime data, there is a settings button (a gear).
clicl lthat and you can select "start logging".

If you dont have that option, maybe you need the pro version $5
