Perrin Headerback Exhaust Review and Pictures

I've had the Perrin Headerback Exhaust on my whiteout for about 5,000 miles now, and I thought I'd take a moment to give you guys a review about the system with regards to how it sounds, feels, and looks on the car. Ill also talk about installation, although I wont have too many pictures for a DIY. It's pretty self explanatory. If you've messed around with an exhaust before you shouldn't have much trouble at all. I most likely wont have any technical data in terms of hp/torque gains as my car probably wont ever see a dyno.

*SPOILER* The system is amazing, little bit quiet, but amazing. More detailed info coming soon.

Perrin header back exhaust has been shipped minus overpipe. Will post pictures after installed.

Really looking forward to Saturday. All Perrin Header Back exhaust parts have arrived and my 1000 mile check up will be completed this afternoon. Definitely ready to get started on it. In the meantime. Here are some teaser shots of it in the box. Unfortunately they are still wrapped in the plastic as I don't want to take them out until they're going on the car.

The catback came foam-injected quite nicely as you'll see in the pictures. I was impressed how nicely everything was placed and protected.

The front pipe and over pipe were less protected but still arrived as nice as I expected them to. Take a look.

I apologize. Apparently I didn't get a picture of the over pipe. I'll take a picture of that tonight as well as the boxes they all came in. I'm planning to take pictures of each part out of their bag before and after installation as well.

------------------------------------------------------

First impression: very impressed. The welds all look very nice, even the wire welds. The stainless is immaculate. And I'm chompin at the bit to get the stock exhaust off and the Perrin on! Hoping it's not a po-po magnet, looking to get a uel header down the road at some point. That will most likely be a cop magnet, but fun
Up on the lift. Lookin pretty sweet if I do say so myself!

Perfect tips. Had to twist the bent pipe a little bit to align the tips. After tightening them the first time the left one stuck out about 2 inches and the right one was in about 2 inches. After twisting the pipe and tightening, it pulled the tips to the correct spot no problem.

Didn't have ANY fitment issues, seamless uninstall (did NOT have to remove the fiberglass shield OR lift the engine up to get the overpipe out. I did have to remove the heatshields, but the overpipe slipped right out after that. No problems. Everything unbolted just fine, no problems, and everything was installed super seamlessly. Great fitment, instructions NOT needed if you've ever seen a socket wrench before. Took about an hour to do the entire job on a lift. Would have easily taken twice as long at least to use jackstands and, call me crazy, but I feel uncomfortable having a car that low to my face for an extended period of time.

Started it up in the shop and it sounded so sweet. Grabbed lunch across the street and then drove it home with a huge smile on my face.

I had Perrin 3" Catback exhaust system, had about 10,000 miles on it now, love it since the first day installed. no rust, no drone. it is a good investment on the car.

Yes. The quality is too notch. I can't remember why they aren't available anymore. Someone please remind me. Someone else on the forum was asking me where to find one and I honestly could only find one left somewhere. I dunno if he picked it up.

I must say. I definitely love mine. Hard to tell if I like one piece of the exhaust more than the others. I installed them all at the same time:P

Updated the OP! Check it out. It's a direct copy from my build thread right now. I might add more later.

I actually don't have sound clips haha. I might consider in the future although there are already plenty of sound clips of my exhaust.

In the meantime here is a good representation of installation and sound
