Typical cost to install Rocket Bunny Kits

As the title states i'm curious what shops have been charging people for Install only and Paint + install. I did do a search and found nothing as far as pricing except for those typical people who say $5000+ for install/wheels/suspension, if anyone can chime in on what they personally paid for the installation of the kit that would be awesome!

(don't have the balls to cut my own fenders).

Plus $3,000 for the kit - minus wing

You can get it all painted for less than $800. Install quotes range from $1800 to $2500

Not a version 2. Version 2 comes with complete front bumper and alone that piece cost $500 to paint. The smaller pieces are $300 for the pair of front fenders and $300 for the rear pair. The diffuser is $250 and wing is $200. The rest of the cost is cutting fender and fitting.

I guess the other question is "What does the OP want painted on the rocket bunny kit (every part, just fenders, fenders sides and front lip, etc)?"

I work for a dealership that has an autobody shop so whatever the cost of painting the kit is i get 20% off that price so the paint is cheap for me. Its the install that gets the more expensive part. All i would need would be the fender install, i can throw on the bumper and diffuser myself, i think the V2 wing is ugly as fuck so i'll just sell it unpainted to recoup like 33% of the cost of painting.

Don't forget wheels, suspension, and second car (if DD).

Wheels and suspension is going to be $2500 at most, i would have the work done before i got rid of my current DD (don't even own a FRS but i'm in the market if costs are reasonable).

Don't know what kind of coilover setup or wheels your looking at but with that kind of budget your going to end up with suspension that's rickety and wheels that will shatter on impact or not fit well. Having a set of wheels that will fit right under the RB fenders without spacers will require specialty wheels in the likes of AG, WORK Wheels, SSR and so forth that typically start around $2800+. I believe your looking closer to around $4500+ in budget for quality wheels and suspension alone unless your looking to put $500 Raceland coilovers and $1400 Rota wheels/tires with $250 50mm spacers.

That $2500 won't even get normal width 17"/18" wheels with tires and decent suspension.
