Whiteline Subframe Bushings problem
Was attempting to install these yesterday but couldn't get the subframe to align with the holes when the inserts were in place. Passenger side went in easy but driver side gave me problems. Tips or tricks to doing this? Ended up removing them and the subframe went in easily.

did you spread the torque evenly or did you put the bolts in on one side before you went in on the other?

Got one bolt slightly threaded and tried to thread the other with no luck . Wouldn't line up. Then i also tried to tighten the passenger bolt to see if it would aid in getting the other in, same problem.
Unless I'm misunderstanding the question. |

Whiteline Subframe Bushings problem
Car was raised on jack stands. Would it have worked/helped if I had the cars weight on the wheels. (Ramps)

Check to see if the inserts are concentric.

Its certainly a trick for the install. I wouldn't say its at all the fault of the whitelline bushings.
Just have to keep trying and do a bit a time on each corner, it took me a few tries but then the stars align and it goes right in.

I haven't done these yet, but would it help to use the jack to help lift the subframe? Maybe a second person to operate it while you're under the car.

Correct I am using the jack to support the subframe. Lifting and lowering subframe as needed. The jack allows for the passenger side to get raised in but can't seem to get driver side aligned. When bushing is not installed the 1/4 inch or so space without the bushing allows the jack to center into the bolt hole. |
