Side View Mirror Maintenance Help
 I saw this today. This is my daily driver. I would like to know how or why this happens and how I can prevent it from spreading (if it will). Please, enlighten me. It is also on my other side view mirror as well. Has this happened to anyone else?

Looks like crusted on wax to me. Try rubbing an isopropyl alcohol dampened rag on it to see if the white stuff comes off.
