RX330 HID retrofit

This'll be a work in progress as I'm not finished yet, but I'll be retrofitting some RX330 projectors (also found in newer Maximas, RX-8s and MDXs) into the FR-S using OEM Matsushita ballasts and 85122+ OEM 4300k bulbs.

I'm converting the new HIDs to bi-xenon by adding solenoids and shields from some Morimoto Mini 6.0s.

The stock high beams have been converted to HIRs, so I should have plenty of high beam with the addition of high beam to the RX330s.

This mod is designed to give me more usable light in general and give a nice clean look on the front of the car. No 6000k-8000k crap, no LED rings, no flashy colors. Housings will be done in a simple satin black to match the stock plastics.

I started with a pair of Maxima headlights from eBay, removed the projectors and worked from there.

More to come as time allows.

Well, the projector isn't a direct bolt-in, but as far as retrofits go, this is very easy. The projectors mounting/shield needed to be trimmed to match the stock projector and the Dremel had a little work to do on the housing, but it works well.

Pictured: Lots of mess, but the projector fits very well
